PM to witness major exercise with indigenous weapons

PM Modi is scheduled to observe a significant tri-Service exercise, a demonstration of firepower, and a presentation of domestically manufactured weapon systems, equipment, and platforms at Pokhran on March 12. Named 'Bharat Shakti,' the event will feature a 'live fire and maneuver demonstration' attended by defense minister Rajnath Singh and top military officials. Officials announced on Wednesday that the demonstration aims to highlight the advancements made by the armed forces under the government's policy of Atmanirbharta (self-reliance) in defense production.
