Pvt hosps in Raj oppose right to health bill, shut for 6th day

In a grim reminder of the initial days of Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, private hospitals are wearing a deserted look, with even emergency services coming to a standstill. Services in multispeciality hospitals as well as smaller healthcare facilities have been paralysed. Desperate patients are rushing to government-run health facilities, which are overburdened, but doctors are working overtime.
